Lockheed Martin Company visit: HOW TO FLY AN ORION, F35-JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER, AND F-22 RAPTOR?

On November 9, 2015 NACCWM was invited for a tour at the Lockheed Martin’s Global Vision Center.

Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that employs about 112,000 people worldwide. It is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.

The tour covered the Legacy Area, Fighter Demonstration and Space Experience Centers. It provided a full overview of all activities and technologies within LHM. The center displayed a F-35 and F-22 cockpit simulator, where some of our members were able to try. Also, an Orion Multipurpose Crew Vehicle cockpit simulator, a missile defense simulator, and the GPS Value Station were displayed.

After the tour, members enjoyed a drink at the networking event. It provided a nice atmosphere to exchange ideas and to create opportunities between US and Dutch attendees.
